Privacy Policy for users of X DataNet Web Sites

X DataNet S.r.l. (from now on X DataNet) explains how it collects and uses information from visitors to all its Web sites and for which purpose. It explains also how cookies are used by the site itself.

This Privacy Policy is made in compliance with Article 13 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), of guidance provided by the Working Document 2/2001 – Article 29 of the Data Protection Working Party and of the General Arrangement of the Italian Garante (Italian Data Protection Authority) to provide Information and Obtain Consent Regarding Cookies – 8 May 2014, n. 229.

Purpose of the processing and mandatory conferment

X DataNet as Data Controller processes the data that the user spontaneously inserts through the forms on the site (Contact form – Book a demo form) to respond to your request (basic treatment). Any additional purposes (by way of example but not limited to: marketing activities) will be subject to an explicit and motivated request and a specific, optional and separated consent respond to your request.

The provision of data and consent to basic treatment are necessary to follow up on your requests; consent to the processing for further purposes is optional.

 

Processing methods, automated decision-making processes and data retention times

The processing of your data is carried out electronically. Potential treatments on paper supports are not excluded. Your data processing is not subject to a decision based solely on automated means, if the decision produces legal effects concerning you or significantly affects you in a similar way.

The personal data concerning you, collected through the form of our site, will be stored only for the time necessary to respond to your requests. Any legal obligations that require longer storage times will obviously be respected by us.

 

Communication, dissemination and transfers of personal data to third countries or international organizations

Your personal data will not be transferred, without your specific and optional consent, to third parties. One exception is third party services X DataNet uses only for sales and marketing purposes.
X DataNet uses Google Analytics and MailChimp, which process data on servers outside the EU (in particular, USA): these organizations are committed to complying with the “EU Privacy Shield” requirements
(see https://www.privacyshield. gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI; https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000TO6hAAG) and this complies with the GDPR, according to the opinion of the European Commission, for the transfer of EU personal data. According to the applicable laws, in accordance with the EU Privacy Shield they could transmit personal data to authorized authorities in case of requests.

We will not transfer your personal data to third countries or international organizations outside the EU.

 

Rights of the interested party and formal complaint to the Garante (Italian Data Protection Authority)

You have the right to request us access to data concerning you. You have the right to ask for their modification, integration or deletion. You have the right to ask for limitation or opposition to their processing, where there’re legitimate reasons, as well as the portability of the personal data to another Data Controller. We will respond to your request within 30 days, with a written reply. You can revoke, at any time, the consents provided on this site by contacting one of the addresses indicated in the paragraph “Information about the Data Controller”. It is also possible for you to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority when you believe your personal data have been treated illegitimately.
